exploring requirements, challenges and functions of social network of technology management actors

social networks have been widely interested by many academics and industry researchers due to extensive functions and interactions.this study aims to identify the requirements, issues, and the main effective factors on the formation of social networks of technology and innovation management actors. the research method is descriptive-survey which the requirements of actors in management of technology in iran are described and analyzed in order to provide a scientific social network. the results show that “search for desired information” and “informed of the friends’ situation” are the main reasons to join the social networks. fundamental issues of developing the desired networks from the audiences’ perspective in this area include “cultural weaknesses associated with the conversation” and “review and analysis of it infrastructure. the most effective factors in stability of the network include “to provide and access the latest and most reliable scientific resources such as articles, books, and etc. in the field of technology management”, “to declare the requirement of relevant research projects”, and “to provide e-learning services”.
